JANUARY 2008

19 - 20   -  Ice Fest Winter Play Day with contests, snow sculpture, smooshing, entertainment, fireworks and more

FEBRUARY 2008
10   -  Annual Chicks on Sticks Race  An 8K ski race for women.  Proceeds benefit breast cancer research

23  -  Annual Hog Loppet  A High 30K ski trek from the top of Mission Ridge ski area to Blewett Pass

MARCH 2008

20  -  Empty Bowls Festival  A fundraiser to benefit Leavenworth’s Community Cupboard. 

APRIL 2008

12  - Third Annual Leavenworth Choral Festival The festival concert features five premier northwest choruses and a massed choir of over 200 voices .

25 – 26   -  Ale Fest  Sample world-class beers at the Festhalle.  A fundraiser for the Nutcracker Museum.

MAY 2008

9 - 11  -  Maifest  Flowers, Music, Entertainment, Maipole Dance, Parade (Mothers Day Weekend)

16 – 18 -  Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest  A celebration of birdsong and the natural world.

JUNE 2008

7   - Bavarian Bike & Brews Festival  IMBA Sanctioned XC Bike Race.

7  -  Leavenworth Wine Walk  Sample Regional wines while strolling through galleries.

19 - 21  -  Leavenworth International Accordion Celebration  Concerts, Dances, Competitions, Accordion Parade.

JULY 2008

Weekends  -  Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival  Intimate Music: Classical, Jazz and Bluegrass.

4  -  Kinderfest & Fourth of July Celebration  Family Fun, Free refreshments and balloons.

AUGUST 2008

23 -  Leavenworth Wine Tasting Festival  Wine Tasting, Art Booths, Entertainment.

SEPTEMBER 2008

3 - 7   Leavenworth Quilt Show   Enjoy Quilt Displays throughout the Village.

6 -  Leavenworth Fall Music Festival  Live music at Ski Hill, a fund-raiser for Leavenworth Winter Sports Club

18 – 21 -  Wenatchee River Salmon Festival  Exhibits, Entertainment, Activities at Leavenworth Fish Hatchery

26 - 28  -  Washington State Autumn Leaf Festival  Entertainment, Parade, Food Booths

OCTOBER 2008

3-4, 10 – 11 & 17 -18 -  Oktoberfest  Authentic German Food, Beer, Music and Dancing

26  -  Annual Pumpkin Run  A Run / Walk sponsored by the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club

NOVEMBER 2008

28 - 30  -  Christkindlmarkt  German style open-air Christmas Market
